Levetiracetam is an analogue of piracetam ,used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment ofpartial seizures with or without secondary generalisation. Dosage: initial adult Dose is 1 g on the first day of treatment, increased 1 g every2 to 4 weeks until antiepileptic control is achieved, up to a maximum dose of 3 g daily. Reduced Doses are recommended in renal and severe hepatic impairment.
