Indications and Doses Hypercalcernic states : 5-10 microgm./kg. S.C. or I.M. as a single dose or on 2 divided doses Postmenopausal Osteoporosis : 100 i.u. S.C. or I.M. daily as initial treatment , for long treatment 50-100 i.u. every other day by S.C. or I.M. injection depending on the severity of the disease .- in case of hyperparathyrodism, immobilizatlon and Vitamin D intoxication or incase of incomplete or repeated fracture 100 i.u. daily or every other day by S.C. or I.M.
