Uses 1- Various types of anemia due to Vit. B 12 Defficiency. 2- Neurological disorders e.g. neuritis , trigeminal neuralgia & in herpes zoster . 3- Macrocystic anaemia or neuropathesis caused by inadequate supply or absorption ofvit. B 12 such as a-inadequate nutrition b- vegetarians whose diet is without animal protein c- In tropical Sprue .
4- In some cases pregnancy may cause drop in vit. B 12 serum concentrations . Dosage: 1 amp. Weekly for 2 months then one every month for 3 month.
