Mechanism-Uses: Cilostazol is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor with antiplatelet and vasodilating activity. It is used in the management of peripheral vascular disease
Side effects, & Interactions:headache, dizziness, palpitations, & diarrhoea; oedema, nausea and vomiting, other cardiac arrhythmias, chest pain, rhinitis reported.
Precautions caution in patients taking drugs metabolised by these cytochrome P450
Dosage: 100 mg twice daily,30 minutes beföre or 2 hours after food;doses reduced in patients taking enzyme inhibitors
