Azithromycin should be given once daily one hour before food or two hours after meal.
Azithromycin are reported to have little effect on hepatic cytochromes, so may produce fewer interactions than erythromycin.
Indications:infections of the upper respiratory tract including sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis. + infictions of respiratory tract including bronchits and Bronchopneumonia. •otitis media * infd•ctions of skin and soft tissues.
Dosage:LO administered at least 1 hour before or, at the earliest, 2 hours after food weight over 45 kg:500mg daily--> Kids 30mg/Kg./day one dose for 3 days.
