Uses: Inhalation anaesthsia in the induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia
Side effects:as halogenated anaesthetics, respiratory depression, hypotension, arrhythmias
Dosage: short-acting barbiturate isoflurane Anaesthesia may be maintained with a concentration of 1 to 2.5% v/v with oxygen and nitrous oxide mixtures. Premedication selected bearing in mind the respiratory depression effect of isoflurane.
